One of the best parts about starting to have done this for a while is that sometimes I can put what I’ve learned making movies in this province to greater use by facilitating other people’s projects.
I produced this video for my friend Cecil, who’s been all over the world with his Born Gold project. It was directed and photographed by Alex Fisher, a really nice and talented guy from New York City. It was shot at my dad’s office in downtown Edmonton, and if you look closely you can even see him as one of the office “drones.” Dad stayed up all night with us as our chaperone while we shot the video. And he had a meeting the next day. In the morning. He even helped vacuum the seemingly endless mounds of confetti we unleashed with reckless abandon. He was everyone’s hero that night, I think. Certainly mine, but that’s nothing new.
Dig the vid. Share it etc.
Until next time.
